If I cared about sports, I’d def like Basketball

Yep: 3-pointers are about to become more frequents than 2-pointers, which is a radical departure from the standard way we think about basketball
Arguably this is part of a broader impact data science has had on sports I.E. by helping athletes and coaches identify optimal strategies, the entire game becomes predictable as everyone converges towards a uniform equilibrium
